SALT LAKE CITY -- University of Utah student-athletes combined to post a 3.027 grade-point-average for the 2015 fall term to extend the current school-record streak to 19 consecutive semesters with an overall GPA above a 3.0.
More than half of Utah's student-athletes (55.93%) qualified for the Athletic Director's Honor Roll while over a quarter (25.73%) were named to the Dean's List, which requires at least a 3.5 GPA.
Gymnastics turned in the highest GPA in the department at 3.719 and was closely followed by women’s skiing (3.708). Gymnastics also placed all of its student-athletes on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
