OGDEN — Former Utah men’s basketball forward and Roy High standout Brekkott Chapman is transferring to Weber State to continue his basketball career.
“Thank you to all the Ute fans that supported me throughout the last couple of years. You guys were amazing! But the time has come for me to move on and I am proud to say that I am now a Wildcat!” Chapman said in a note posted to his Twitter account.
Chapman, who has two years left of eligibility, averaged 4.4 points and 2.8 rebounds in 36 games during his sophomore season at Utah.
