SALT LAKE CITY — The saga of suspended Utah cornerback Dominique Hatfield has taken another turn.
First, Hatfield was charged with assault and theft and head coach Kyle Whittingham suspended him from the team while the investigation took its course.
Those charges were dropped, but Whittingham didn't reinstate him.
Amy Donaldson of the Deseret News then reported Friday night that Hatfield has returned to school, but only to go to class. He's still suspended from all football-related activities.
KSL Sports caught up with Donaldson on Sunday to get the complete story on the saga that has several twists and turns.
