SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah cross country team recently spent an afternoon at Hill Air Force Base, taking a tour of the facility and discussing similarities between team sports and routines in the military.
"They turned an afternoon of fall break into a great team educational event," Utah head coach Kyle Kepler said. "It was a terrific opportunity for our kids to better understand what happens for the freedom that we are provided. They really enjoyed it. We were up in the traffic control tower, we were in flight simulators flying jets all over the valley, they were teaching us the land and we were bombing ships out in the Great Salt Lake.
