SOUTH BEND, Ind.- In its first big test of the season competing with several nationally-ranked teams, the University of Utah women’s cross country captured fifth place with 164 team points. Sophomores Sarah Feeny and Hannah McInturff led the way for the Utes, recording top-10 performances.
“We had a great day,” Utah head coach Kyle Kepler said. “Our runners got out exactly how we asked them to. With over 200 bodies in the race, you have to get out fast. We got out very aggressively and I am just really proud of the effort.
