ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Led by a fourth-place finish from Hannah McInturff the 20th-ranked University of Utah cross country team finished third at the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships.
“We had a huge day,” Utah head coach Kyle Kepler said. “Maybe the best day in the history of the program. I can’t be prouder of a group of girls. They did it. This is all on them and they are the ones who believed that we could get it done this year. All of the effort and all the accolades will go to them.”
McInturff, a Pocatello, Idaho native, finished with a time of 21:07.
