SALT LAKE CITY — Let the rivalry continue … for two more years.
After a two-year break from action, BYU and Utah will resume play on the field next season through the 2018 season. But the unknown was whether the rivalry would continue beyond the 2018 season considering Utah's want to schedule the game in the first three weeks of play.
The rivalry, though, has been renewed for two more seasons (2019 and 2020), according to BYU associate athletic director Duff Tittle on Twitter Wednesday. The first game in 2019 will be played in Provo, with a return game in 2020 being played in Salt Lake City.
