SURPRISE, Ariz. - AJ Young hit a three-run home run to lead the Utah baseball team in an 8-4 loss to Kansas on Monday afternoon, closing out the Pac-12/Big 12 Tournament.
Utah came back from 1-0 and 3-1 deficits to tie the game at 4-4 before Kansas took the lead with a four-run seventh inning.
Young went 2-for-4 with three RBI on the day to lead the Utes at the plate. Cody Scaggari was 2-for-4 on the day.
Josh Lapiana earned the start, allowing three runs on six hits with one strikeout over 5 1/3 innings.
