SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah baseball team won its fourth Pac-12 series of the season with a 9-4 victory over UCLA on Saturday behind a complete-game outing on the mound from Dalton Carroll.
Tied 2-2 through four innings, UCLA took a 4-2 lead with two runs in the top of the fifth. The Utes came back in the bottom of the inning for three runs and added insurance runs in the seventh and eighth innings for the win.
Dalton Carroll allowed four runs on five hits with five strikeouts and four walks.
