PALO ALTO, Calif. - Utah baseball dropped game one of a three-game series against Stanford, 10-6, on Friday evening.
Although Utah held a 6-1 lead before Stanford took the lead with a six-run sixth inning.
Wade Gulden led Utah at the plate with a 3-for-4 performance, while Cody Scaggari was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Josh Rose drove in three runs for Utah.
Utah used five pitchers. Starter Nolan Stouder pitched five innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on nine hits with two walks and a strikeout.
