SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team opens practice for the 2016 season on Friday, Jan. 29, with a trip to St. George, Utah.
The Utes have been doing individual work since fall practice ended in October. Traveling to St. George allows the team the opportunity practice outside.
"It will be good to get outside and scrimmage," Utah head coach Bill Kinneberg said. "We plan to scrimmage three times. It will be the first time that we've been back together as a team since October. As a group, we're looking forward to it.
