SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team closed out its fall team practice last week with a fall World Series.
Assistant coach Mike Crawford's team defeated associate head coach Jason Hawkins' team over the three games of the series, winning game one 2-0 and game three 13-4. Game two ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
Head coach Bill Kinneberg was pleased with the competitiveness of the team practices.
"I think the best part is that there is quite a bit of competition still going on," Kinneberg said. "There are still some positions that are up for grabs, which is always good.
