Baseball. Rose Homers as Utah Baseball Falls to No. 14 Oregon State, 10-4

SALT LAKE CITY- The Utah baseball team opened a three-game series against 14th-ranked Oregon State with a 10-4 loss on Thursday evening.

Oregon State (25-9, 7-6 Pac-12) took a 5-0 lead before the Utes (13-21, 8-5 Pac-12) got on the board with a two-run home run from Josh Rose. The Beavers continued to pull ahead with runs in the sixth, seventh and ninth innings. Andre Jackson’s two-RBI triple added two runs for the Utes in the eighth.

DaShawn Keirsey, Jr. and Hunter Simmons each had two hits for Utah.
