SALT LAKE CITY - Utah freshman baseball player DaShawn Keirsey, Jr. has been named the Pac-12 Baseball Player of the Week for May 23-29.
Keirsey hit .467 (7-of-15) over three games against Washington, including going 7-for-10 with seven RBI in the final two games of the series to give Utah the series win and outright Pac-12 title. He went 3-for-5 with four RBI in game two of the series, including an inside-the-park home run.
