SALT LAKE CITY — The Utes came away with a 34-18 win over Arizona State Saturday. The following are five things I learned from the game.

1. It's not how you start it's how you finish

A slow Utah start kept Arizona State in the game until the fourth quarter Saturday night. Arizona State seemed to have an answer for everything Utah did. Utah went into halftime with a 14-10 lead, but Arizona State got the ball to open the second half. After four punts between both teams, Arizona State kicked a field goal and then scored a safety on a bizarre play by Utah's special teams unit.
