Utah added the fourth wide receiver and second Floridian to its 2016 class Sunday morning, when Demari Simpkins tweeted his commitment.
Simpkins and his Hallandale High quarterback, Tyler Huntley — who is verbally committed to Florida Atlantic — visited the U. together on Thursday.
Both Simpkins and Huntley are rated three stars by Rivals, which has ratings for 10 Hallandale players in the 2016 class.
Listed by rivals as 5'10, 171, Simpkins had narrowed his final two to Utah and Wisconsin. Receiver is an acknowledged thin area for the Utes, who stand to lose seniors Kenneth Scott and Tim Patrick.
