San Francisco • The favorite in this season’s Pac-12 men’s basketball race? There really isn’t one.
No fewer than four teams received first-place votes in the conference preseason media poll released Tuesday morning.
Oregon edged Colorado as the top vote-getter, though both teams received the same number of first-place votes (nine). Defending regular season champion Washington (six first-place votes) was picked third.
Rebuilding Utah, with just two upper classmen on the its roster, was picked to finish ninth, behind new-look UCLA and ahead of Stanford.
