The Colorado woman who has accused a former LDS Missionary Training Center president of attempting to rape her in 1984 said Saturday that although she didn’t approve the release of a recording of her conversation with him, she does not object to its publication.
On Monday, the website MormonLeaks posted the explosive audio recording and a transcript of her nearly three-hour conversation with Joseph L. Bishop, now 85. Also Monday, she told The Salt Lake Tribune it was released to the site and posted without her knowledge and approval, and she worried that it might scuttle settlement talks with the LDS Church.
