The Utah Jazz had a plan of bringing back the players from last season, did it within the first four days of negotiations, then made their contracts official the first hour they could. And everyone was back in Salt Lake City to celebrate on Friday.
Favors, Exum and Raul Neto all shared a stage with Jazz general manager Dennis Lindsey on Friday afternoon, celebrating their collective return to next season’s roster. Utah is hoping to build on a 29-6 finish to the regular season, as well as reaching the second round of the NBA playoffs for the second straight year.
