After hearing a report of a possible child abduction from a 10-year-old boy, West Jordan police on Thursday morning are asking that community members verify that their children are where they’re supposed to be.

According to Sgt. J.C. Holt, the boy reported that he saw “some type of confrontation,” including a verbal argument, at an apartment complex, 3951 W. Serenity View Way (6820 South).

The boy reported that after a brief struggle, a white female with blond hair — possibly between the ages of 12 and 16 — was forced into a black van that drove away.
