Even before he moved into his Huntsman Center office last summer, during the two years when he held staff meetings at his house or in a bakery just off campus and coached Utah’s club program, Brian Holman worked every day to prepare the Utes to play a Division I lacrosse game.
Holman's intent, while coaching Utah's club team for two seasons, was to keep his players from feeling overwhelmed about a genuine intercollegiate game. “This is no different than what we've done since the day we got here,” Holman said. “But it is exciting. I'd be crazy to say that it's not.
