Utah made its first 27 free throws before missing its last attempt Friday night in an 80-66 victory over Ohio in the consolation bracket of the Myrtle Beach Invitational at Conway, S.C.
The Utes (4-1) will play Tulane in Sunday's final round at 8:30 a.m. MST.
Utah went 1 of 12 from the field to end the game, but had enough cushion after building a 63-42 lead midway through the second half. The Utes went more than five minutes without scoring, but the Bobcats never got closer than 10 points.
Timmy Allen led Utah with 19 points, going 9 of 9 from the line.
