Tucson, Ariz. • After an 84-81 overtime loss to Arizona on Saturday afternoon, the Utah Utes left the McKale Center once again wondering what they ever will have to do in hopes of winning a game in Tucson.
Utah guard Parker Van Dyke's 3-point shot rimmed out with the Utes down by one point in the last few seconds and Arizona (11-4, 1-1 Pac-12) escaped.
The Utes (7-7, 1-1 Pac-12) clearly missed senior guard Sedrick Barefield in the late stages of regulation and in overtime, after he fouled out. Even so, the Utes took an 81-80 lead on Donnie Tillman's 3-point play with 1:12 remaining.
