Utah’s 3.3 percent job-growth rate in March was the best in the nation

No state in the country had a higher job-growth rate in March than Utah, whose 3.3 percent rise meant jobs for 48,000 more Beehive State residents.

Idaho came closest to matching Utah’s growth rate, increasing its year-over-year employment total by 3.1 percent, according to figures the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released Friday shortly after the state Department of Workforce Services revealed the monthly numbers.
