Utahns will be voting on whether to legalize medical marijuana, according to Utah’s lieutenant governor, the state’s top election official.
Meantime, the Count My Vote effort to reaffirm Utah’s signature-gathering law for candidates faltered after a well-financed campaign to peel off signatures in targeted areas, according to Lt. Gov. Spencer Cox.
Among other results tweeted out by Cox on Tuesday: Utahns will vote on whether to expand Medicaid to cover another 70,000 low-income residents, and they will decide whether to create an independent commission to recommend political voting boundaries.
