Las Vegas • San Diego State's men's basketball team has been picked to win the Mountain West Conference for the fourth consecutive year.
The Aztecs were the choice once again to win the MWCV in a media poll released here Wednesday morning. The Aztecs picked up 23 of a possible 27 first-place votes. Nevada was second, while New Mexico placed third and picked up three first-place votes.
Utah State finished sixth in the poll, between fifth place Boise State and seventh place Colorado State.
San Diego State is coming off a 28-10 record and a 16-2 mark in Mountain West play in 2015-16.
