LOGAN — USU superfan Matt Anderson summed Utah State's 12-9 victory over Southern Utah Thursday night with one simple phrase: “We just witnessed the most important game in Utah State history."
Anderson probably isn’t wrong either, just take a look at the history of the Michigan Wolverines.
It has been eight years since the Wolverines lost to FCS Appalachian State, and they still haven’t fully returned to the dominance that was and always has been Michigan.
Now, that was Michigan, what could have happened to a Utah State program? Possibly send them back years?
