Drug possession charges have been dropped against former Utah State standout running back and Super Bowl champion Robert Turbin stemming from a July 2016 traffic stop.
The Cache County Attoney's Office submitted a motion in Logan Municipal Justice Court to dismiss the charges without prejudice on evidentiary grounds Dec. 2, 2016. Judge David C. Marx signed the motion and order to dismiss.
The motion to dismiss was filed on Turbin's birthday.
Turbin, 27, entered a not guilty plea through his attorney Mark A. Flores on a class B misdemeanor charge July 14, 2016.
Logan Police cited Turbin for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop July 8, a day before he hosted a youth football camp in Logan.
