LOGAN — During Tuesday night's game against Great Falls, Utah State hosted a charity event that encouraged fans to toss teddy bears onto the court at the Spectrum.
It's probably a good thing that they waited until halftime.
Had the teddy bear toss got underway midway through the first half, it's quite possible that the stuffed animals — and potentially some harder items — might have been thrown directly at the home team, which got off to a very ugly start against the NAIA Argonauts.
But after opening the game with five turnovers on it's first five possessions, the Aggies eventually managed to get things on track in the first half and then used a dominating spurt after halftime to bury Great Falls, 84-51.
