Laramie, Wyo. • Jason McManamen scored 20 points and Josh Adams added 19 to lead hot-shooting Wyoming to a 84-65 victory over Utah State on Saturday at the Arena Auditorium.
Jalen Moore scored 17 points to lead the Aggies, who lost their fifth straight game.
Utah State trailed at halftime, 38-37, despite shooting 60 percent from the field. But the Aggies quickly cooled off in the second half. They missed 12 of their first 13 shots. It took them 9:15 to score their second field goal.
Wyoming eventually opened the half on a 28-5 run. The Cowboys built a 66-42 lead when Adams nailed one of their school-record 20 three-pointers with 10:25 remaining.
