In what was possibly the most important game of the season for the Utah Royals FC and Seattle Reign, both teams came out flying.
First it was the Royals, controlling possession and setting the tone with three shots in the first 11 minutes. Then the Reign settled in and started attacking more, creating more chances. It was back and forth to the very end — a Seattle goal, then a Utah goal, then a late Seattle goal.
And just like that, Utah’s season was in the most dangerous position with just two games remaining on the schedule.
