Utah judge orders Button Down Bar can serve alcohol again — for now

A judge ruled that a Salt Lake City bar can start selling alcohol again, after the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission took away its license last month, FOX 13 reports.

Third District Court Judge Laura Scott’s order allows Button Down Bar, at 122 W. Pierpont Ave. in Salt Lake City, to sell alcohol until Nov. 22, when its lawyers and the DABC will meet in court, according to FOX 13.

The DABC took away the bar’s liquor license after it allegedly didn’t tell the state board about potential ownership changes. Button Down said it didn’t do anything wrong.
