For the first time since 2012, Utah State is in the top 25. It's also a good week to be a Ute.
The Aggies (7-1, 4-0 MWC) jumped into the top 20 in both the Associated Press and Coaches Polls, to No. 18 in the AP and No. 20 in the Coaches polls released Sunday. It's their first time being ranked since finishing the 2012 season No. 16 in the AP poll and No. 17 in the Coaches Poll. That Utah State team went 11-2.
Utah (6-2, 4-2 Pac-12), meanwhile, leaped to No. 16 in both polls, a jump of seven spots in the AP and eight in the Coaches after soundly defeating UCLA 41-10 at the Rose Bowl.
