The 2016-17 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Track and Field/Cross Country Teams were announced on Thursday, and a pair of Utah State student-athletes were honored.
For the third-consecutive year, senior javelin thrower Devin Wright was tabbed to the CoSIDA Academic All-District VIII Men’s Track and Field/Cross Country Team. On the women’s side, sophomore distance runner Kashley Carter garnered her first academic all-district accolade.
Wright recently graduated from Utah State with a 3.94 grade point average. He earned his bachelor’s of science degree in biology, with an emphasis in human biology. Both he and Carter are two of 18 Aggies currently competing at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships in Austin, Texas.
