Utah State women's tennis (1-0) opened its dual match season with a 6-1 victory over Southern Utah (0-3) on Saturday at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club.
"For the first match of the year, we came out and were pretty aggressive and dictated most points," head coach Sean McInerney said. "We had ups and downs that we expect to have. But a lot of players found a way to stay consistent on what we've been working on. We got a little bit better today, so that was really cool."
