Utah State’s gymnastics team posted its highest score of the season, a 196.300, against No. 7 Boise State on Friday night at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. The Broncos won the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference dual meet with a 196.700.
“It was a really successful meet,” said senior Keri Peel, who tied her career high on bars with a 9.875 and set her personal best on beam with a 9.875. “We went up against a top-ranked team and they did not beat us by that much. We had a couple of mistakes here and there that we could have fixed, but we hung with them for the most part.
