Utah State’s gymnastics team was selected to finish tied for third in the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference preseason coaches’ poll, it was announced Wednesday by the league.
Defending MRGC champion Boise State was selected first in the preseason poll. The Broncos garnered eight points and two first-place votes. Southern Utah was tabbed second with six points and one first-place vote.
Utah State and BYU tied for third with five points apiece. The Cougars received one first-place vote.
The Aggies return four all-conference honorees in seniors Miranda Kerr (vault, 2015), McKinzey Martinez (all-around, 2015) and Michelle Yasukochi (beam, 2014) and junior Bailey McIntire (floor, 2014).
