Utah State football wrapped up its first week of spring drills with a Thursday morning practice, its third of the week, as the Aggies continue to identify who will replace 26 letterwinners, including 13 starters, lost from last season’s team.
Overall, fifth-year head coach Matt Wells has been pleased with how the first week of spring practice has gone.
“This week was a grind with three-straight 6 a.m. practices, and we went hard, so I was proud of those kids because they pushed through it,” said Wells. “Practice today was good. It was upbeat and it was competitive and they have a good look in their eye right now.
