Utah State’s Savon Scarver will travel to New Haven, Connecticut, on Thursday, Jan. 10, to take part in the Walter Camp Football Foundation (WCFF) All-American festivities during the weekend. The sophomore was named to the 128th Walter Camp All-America team in December, earning first-team honors.
The newest All-American team will be honored at the 52nd annual Black Tie National Awards Dinner, sponsored by McDermott Lexus of New Haven, on Saturday, Jan. 12. The dinner will be held at Yale’s newly renovated Lanman Center at Payne Whitney Gymnasium.
Scarver was named a consensus All-American as a returner/all-purpose player this year.
