USU football player and Riverton resident critically injured in Willard rollover

WILLARD — The Utah Highway Patrol said a 21-year-old Riverton man received critical injuries after he was thrown from his vehicle in a rollover accident on Interstate 15.

The injured man, identified as Brady Holt, was taken to Ogden Regional Hospital after the 12:50 p.m. Saturday near Willard. Holt plays on the defensive line for Utah State's football team. He's listed as a freshman defensive end.

Troopers say Holt's vehicle was headed north in a construction zone when it drifted, hit some wooden spools and the car over corrected.
