David Yost, who has 23 years of coaching experience, including four years as an offensive coordinator, was hired as Utah State’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016.
Prior to his appointment at Utah State, Yost spent the 2016 season as the quarterback coach and passing game coordinator at Oregon. He also spent three seasons (2013-15) as the inside wide receiver coach at Washington State and 12 years at Missouri, culminating with him serving as the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator.
At Utah State, Yost inherits seven starters and 18 letterwinners returning on offense, including senior Kent Myers, a three-year starter at quarterback.
