Utah State women's basketball (10-7, 5-1 Mountain West) defeated Colorado State (7-9, 1-4 MW), 72-53, on Saturday afternoon for its first road win in Fort Collins since 1980.
The Aggies, who outrebounded the Ram, 45-20, were led by junior guard/forwards Shannon Dufficy and Hailey Bassett with 12 boards each. Dufficy recorded her seventh-consecutive double-double, which ties for the longest streak in program history, as she added 14 points. Bassett posted her second career double-double as she scored 18 points. Junior guard Eliza West added 11 points and seven assists.
An early 6-0 Aggie run gave USU the 8-2 lead.
