USU basketball: women's team dominates San José State, 82-49

Utah State women's basketball (9-7, 4-1 Mountain West) is off to its best start in conference play since the 2011-12 season, when the Aggies opened 6-1 in the WAC, after a dominating 82-49 victory over San José State (1-14, 0-4 MW) on Wednesday in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

Junior guard/forward Shannon Dufficy continued her double-double streak with her sixth-consecutive double-double at a career-high-tying 24 points and 10 rebounds. Dufficy's streak is the longest by an Aggie since the reinstatement of the women’s basketball program in 2003, while her 22 career double-doubles ties Ashlee Brown for the most double-doubles in that same time.
