A stabbing inside one of the busiest Maverik stations in Salt Lake City killed one person and injured a second early Wednesday.
Police have arrested two suspects, said Salt Lake City police Detective Michael Ruff, but are looking for more. The names of the victims have not been released. Ruff did not say whether the victims were employees or customers at the Maverik.
The stabbings happened about 3:30 a.m. at the Maverik gas station and convenience store at the corner of Main Street and 1300 South. Its location in the center of the city — Smith’s Ballpark is across the street — makes it one of the best-known and busiest gas stations in the capital.
