One man is hospitalized and another is being detained by police after the co-workers got in an argument that ended in a stabbing.
Salt Lake City police responded to Whiskey Street bar in downtown Salt Lake City about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to find the suspect being held down by co-workers.
The altercation started as an argument between two dishwashers, Lt. Justin Hudson said, and ended with one stabbing the other in the back with a knife when he wasn’t looking.
The victim has been taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. Hudson said he didn’t know how many stab wounds there were, but doctors don’t believe any vital organs were hit.
