Overnight snowfall will impact roadways across Utah on Sunday morning, though forecasters predict the snow will stop by the afternoon, lingering longest in the mountains.
Salt Lake City — which remains under a winter weather advisory until 11 a.m. with other cities in the Salt Lake and Tooele valleys and the southern Wasatch Front — is predicted to get 2 to 4 inches of snow in the storm. Up to 6 inches of localized snow is possible with the advisory area, according to the National Weather Service.
Another quick-hitting storm is on tap starting late this afternoon into this evening.
