LOGAN — The Wyoming Cowboys couldn’t get a handle on Utah State’s offense as the Aggies took 592 yards of total offense to guide them to a smooth 58-27 victory.
“I’m really proud of our performance tonight,” head coach Matt Wells said. “They’re very resilient young men who understand the task at hand.”
Holding the Cowboys to just a single touchdown per quarter, the Aggies’ exploded right from the get-go, including a 14-point first quarter to clench an early lead.
“We came out fast and established the run,” Wells said. “I’m proud of the offense.
