The Downtown Winter Market opened Saturday, offering squash, potatoes, apples and other produce and goods now that the outdoor Farmers Market at Pioneer Park has closed for the season.
The Winter Market will be held at the Rio Grande Depot (300 S Rio Grande St) on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through April 20. A list of the more than 70 local vendors participating is available at slcfarmersmarket.org.
Farmers with cold storage capabilities, greenhouses and hydroponic growing systems will offer produce through the winter, according to a news release from the Downtown Alliance.
