Salt Lake City police disclosed Stoddard’s name Wednesday morning. He was believed to have been electrocuted Monday on the first floor of the Utah State Archives and Records Service building, 346 S. Rio Grande St., where he was working for an electrical subcontractor.
Salt Lake City police Sgt. Brandon Shearer said other workers were in the building at the time, but no one saw the accident. Stoddard’s wife reported him missing Monday night. On Tuesday morning, his body was discovered on top of a walk-in refrigerator.
