The Salt Lake Bees used a six-run second inning to defeat the Oklahoma City Dodgers 14-4 on Wednesday night in front of 10,788 fans at Smith’s Ballpark.
After Oklahoma City hit a two-run home run in the first inning, Salt Lake responded with a big second inning, scoring six runs to take a 6-2 lead. The Bees collected seven hits in the inning, including Jo Adell’s first Triple-A hit and RBI coming on a single to right field.
The Dodgers scored one run in the third, but surrendered three runs in the bottom of the inning as Michael Hermosillo drove in a run on a single and Jared Walsh belted a two-run homer to give Salt Lake a 9-3 advantage.
